Aimersoft DVD Ripper

It would be a shame to scratch a movie DVD, especially if it's a special edition. If you want to keep your DVDs spotless, you should rip their contents and play them from the computer's hard drive or burn them on expendable optical devices. Aimersoft DVD Ripper gives you the possibility of extracting movies or specific segments from DVDs. Additionally, it can convert your movies to various formats, for all sorts of devices.

Aimersoft DVD Ripper comes in Windows and Mac versions. The setup file for the Windows edition is about 12 MB. You can install the program's components on your computer in less than a minute. It does not require additional codecs or other tools.

If a DVD is loaded in your computer, you can import its movie or contents from another folder. Alternatively, you can load ISO or IFO files. Once you load a DVD or an image, its main movie and titles will appear in a list, on the user interface. You can target the movie itself or individual titles. It is also possible to preview them, on the software's embedded player.

Selected titles can be edited and trimmed as well. The editing window displays the original and output videos side by side. You can crop and rotate the video, add effects and watermarks. Videos can be trimmed on a different window, on which you have to mark the start and end points, on the video's timeline.

The available output formats are neatly categorized by devices, in a drop menu. You can choose one of many predefined output profiles, for a vast range of mobile phones, tablets, gaming consoles and other devices or media players. You can also select a language and subtitle and make a series of settings for the selected output profile. If you are satisfied with your configurations, you can hit the large Start button, located in the lower right corner of the interface, and the program will start ripping your DVD right away.
